One decision can change your life

Have you heard about the butterfly effect?

It's the notion that when one butterfly flaps it's wings from one corner of the world, there is a typhoon caused on the other side of the world. It does not sound logical. But it does make sense when taken as an analogy.

Of all the years you've been on this planet, you've lived your life through a series of decisions. Hundreds of decisions made every single day. You decide whether you want to snooze the alarm or wakeup. You decide whether to skip breakfast or eat until you are full. You decide which outfit to wear, which transport to take, which work to finish first, which movie to watch, which playlist to listen to on your way home.

All of these decisions sound so small and worthless like the flapping of the butterfly's wing. But, believe me, it somehow is affecting your future in a major way. Sometimes these effects go unnoticed but that doesn't mean it won't cause changes.

Take a moment and think about whatever you are doing right now. Now, go back and think about how you got there. Maybe you're writing your assignment right now. Go back to the time when you decided to take up humanities. Instead of what your relatives or friends told you. Imagine if you hadn't done that. One little change in the form you filled after your boards, and you would've been living a completely different life. Just one little decision and your life would've had a 360° turn.

A best friend you met on the internet, imagine you never replied to their story. The college you got into but didn't go to, imagine if you had.

Do you see how it is all connected? The things that seem so insignificant now may lead up to something huge in your life. Nothing seems to make sense now but What if  all these things happening in your life are piling up to take you to the top where you are actually supposed to be?
